Help me! I'm scaly.

My moisturizer has been discontinued!!! Or at least they have stopped carrying it in all of my stores. I have used Johnson’s soft lotion (the pink one) for about 8 years… now it is gone. Last time I found it I stocked up, but it of course didn't last. I currently have a moisturizer that works fine but smells like “amber scent” my least favorite ever. I had no idea when I purchased. It was all sealed up. Damn you Target! BUT I feel like I should use it because I don’t want to waste!

This is me.

I had some Kiehl’s dry oil that I was obsessed with all summer, but it ran out super-fast and isn't cheap… plus it smells a little bit like pot. Not my jam.

Here is what I am looking for:
A not super expensive dry oil or rich moisturizer that absorbs fast. It would ideally have a pump, but I guess I could DIY that bit. It must have a light fresh scent that isn't overwhelmingly manly, naturey or floral. Basically, I want it to smell good, but be light enough that it doesn't conflict with a perfume if I choose to wear one.

Any suggestions!? I am at a loss. The winter months are here and this will become an issue. Call me, email me, text me, or comment. I am desperate. This is kind of embarrassing considering the real problems in the world. Meh, just deal.

  1. I know this is really weird but I use this stuff called Udder Cream. You can get it at Walgreen's and it comes in a container with cow prints on it. It works amazing, even though it has a weird name!!

  2. Olive oil. Silky smooth skin always :)

  3. Have you checked out Avon? They actually have some pretty good moisturizers (and their Skin So Soft line doubles as a bug repellent...ha ha!).

  4. When you find something you like, be sure to share. I've been looking for something with your similar guidelines too.

  5. I use a giant bottle {with a pump} of Neutrogena body lotion, it's a light sesame formula. Even though it's body lotion, I use it on my face. My skin is insanely sensitive and dry though, so that might be a bit more intense than you're looking for :)

  6. I LOVE Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer. No pump but its nice and creamy, light enough to wear under a foundation but has a slight tint so it evens out your skin tone even if you decide you don't want to wear foundation one day! I swear by the stuff! It's a wee bit pricy in my opinion though!

  8. I swear by cetaphil cream (comes in the tub, so no pump)- I'm not sure if it's what you're looking for but it saved me two winters ago when winter sucked the moisture out of my face and everything else made me break out!

There's no scent and you can use it on your body/face/whatever-floats-your-boat. It works for me!
